A Couple of Days In The Lives of Our Groomers!

The photos below depict a couple of days on the trails of our Groomers. They often work for hours without the chance to enjoy riding the trails that we do because of lenghtly times it takes to get the job done. They average about 5 to 10 MPH.

So on 12/31/12 one of our Techees, named Chad put this remotely operated drone on the trail to the Township Tavern.

    On Trail C7B IN E. Berne after a fresh Grooming by Brian Buchardt  & Ron Shultes on 1/4/13 !

Brian is down while checking the trail after Chad remotely operating the drone hit him. He had to re-adjust the camera angle! Thank God ... no damage done to the  machinery ... too many repairs already this season!

'12 /'13 SEASON CLUB MEMBERSHIP  APPLICATIONS  & NYS-DMV  ON-LINE  REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE ! ....

FOR CLUB MEMBERSHIPS: Select Join Our Club Online in the Menu on the left which will link you with NYSSA for Registration & Voucher ! .... Have your credit card handy ! NOTE: Register by November 30th and your Club will be allocated with Trail Fund maintenance reimbursement! 

NOTE: 

1 - IF REGISTERING A SLED UNDER A DIFFERENT NAME, YOU MUST GO IN PERSON TO A NYS-DMV AGENCY OFFICE with the Title & correct DMV Forms and Club Membership Voucher.

2  - IF YOU ARE CHANGING ADDRESSES YOU CAN CHANGE IT ON-LINE BEFORE CONTINUING TO PROCESS THE RENEWAL BY GOING TO THE LINK "change of address"  WITHIN THE DMV WEBSITE PAGE BELOW AND MAKE THE CHANGE!

3 - OUT OF STATE ORIGINAL APPLICATIONS MUST FIRST GO TO THE " an original NYS registration for an out-of-state snowmobile within the DMV website page below and follow those instructions.

Have your NYSSA Snowmobile Club Voucher No. & Credit card information ready before proceeding.

If the on-line registration is more convenient for you to use, by all means use it. The Local DMV Agency Offices will eventually receive 8% of the transaction fee that the NYS-DMV collects for processing as per current legislation. The NYS-DMV will receive the other 4.7% of the 12.7% total fee for the $10 NYS receives. This amounts to about $0.80 per sled to the local Agency reducing the amount by $0.47 per sled they would normally receive by registering the sled in person!

ATTENTION B.O.Ds., Committees, Trail Bosses & Land Owners NYSSA Voucher Instructions!

Your NYSSA & Club Membership Information should reach you by e-mail within the next couple of days if you haven't received it yet! When you log in your user ID will be your membership no. which should be the same as last year, you may use your old password when prompted for a new one. You may continue to use your old password.  After logging in, click on "voucher" on the right side of the page and print out at least two (2) vouchers in color and one for each additional sled you will be registering.  Gerry Lenseth is processing your memberships for the vouchers at this time. If you don't receive this e-mail from NYSSA by next Friday 10/7/11 call Gerry & leave him a message.
